Important dates of Boat Club Events for the Diary.
The captains of the Boat Club would like to invite you to the SEHBC Summer Eights Dinner on Saturday 30th May at The Folly. Dinner will include a welcome drink upon arrival, 1/2 bottle of wine and a 3 course meal, the price is £32. Dress code is black tie or boat club blazer. For those so inclined the party will continue after dinner at one of Oxford's fine night spots (see below).
The menu choices are as follows.
Seasonal Soup, Homemade Sour dough & Truffle Butter (v)
Haddock & Cod Fishcake, Pea Puree & Tartar Sauce
Eggs Benedict, Parma Ham & Hollandaise Sauce (v)
Boneless Leg of Free Range Chicken, Tarragon, Savoy Cabbage & Fondant Potato (gf)
Grilled Fillet of Lemon Sole, Crispy Oyster, Baby Leeks, Lemon & Horseradish Sauce
Potato Gnocchi, Wild Mushrooms, Spinach Cream & Parsley (v)
Dark Chocolate Tart, Crème Fraiche, Chocolate & Orange Ganache (v)
Vanilla Crème Brulee, Sugar Glazed, Seasonal Berries (gf)
2 Cheeses, Quince Jelly, Chutney, Grapes & Oatcakes (gf)

Once you have ordered, please make your payment by direct bank transfer to the SEHBC account (details below), making the reference your name followed by eights. Once you've paid it would be greatly appreciated if you could firstname.lastname@example.org to inform him that you have done so. If paying for more than one guest could you include this in your email to Harry.
Payment can also be made by cheque made payable to SEHBC and pidged to Harry Clifford. If it is not clear from the name on the cheque who the payment is from could you please write your name on the reverse. Again if paying by cheque could you please drop Harry an email to let him know.
