WELCOME TO ST. EDMUND HALL BOAT CLUB
27th November 16 - Another great week racing for this years novices. Three boats were entered into Christ Church Regatta, and they all tested the new skills they had learnt in the past term. Mens A boat fought a good race on the first day - mid race there was a collision with the opposition (Christ Church) and even though the SEH crew won the race, we had an appeal against us due to the illegal bump. Mens B and Womens A unfortunately lost their races, but all the novices are keen to keep training hard over the vacation as we prepare for the Torpids regatta next term.
20th November 16 - Thanks to all who came down to the "Pull together for Matt Greenwood" event today. It was a huge success, with a total of 1,000,000 meters rowed on the ergs in less than 7 hours, and over £3000 raised. If you would like to donate towards the event please click here by the 10th December.
28th July 16 - We are now recruiting for the 2016/17 season. If you would like any information then please contact the captains (see the committee page), and also sign up here so that we can add you to the mailing list.
2nd June 16 - The hall had a great performance at this years summer eights. M2 were bumped in the first 2 days by a very strong Keble boat, and Jesus M2, but went on to bump back Jesus the next day and bumped Magdalen M2 on the final day to hold their position. M1 also held their place at 9th in Division 1. W1 again had some tough competition, but managed to maintain a place in the women's top division.
1st March 16 - A strong performance all round in torpid this year. M2 showed off their strength and bumped every day and were awarded blades. The M1 bumped on three days, but unfortunately rowed over on the first day so missed out on blades. W1 had some fierce competition this year, but are already training hard ready for summer eights in a few months time.
3rd August 15 - The Captains of SEHBC are looking to recruit new enthusiastic rowers for the forthcoming 2015/16 season. No experience necessary. Check out our website for a background of our Club and why you should take part. Sign up here.
